After years of working under other salons, Maddie Brown made the decision to go out on her own as a freelance hairdresser in order to effectively offer her clients the best work she could do without time, financial or other limitations. Her mission was to have the ability to create gorgeous hair in a fabulous and comfortable safe space for all. Back in 2020, her journey as a freelance hairdresser, renting a chair in the heart of Geelong, began and La Luna Soul was born.

Expanding La Luna Soul to give it a home has been a dream of Maddies for her entire career. Whilst on an educational business trip to Europe early 2023, Maddie met and had the privilege of meeting like minded people in the industry who’re as passionate as she is. Sparking these new connections enabled her to gain insight on how they run their businesses/ salons so she could bring home her newfound knowledge and use it to achieve her goals in expanding La Luna Soul.
